Two shades of green are used to emphasize the importance of eco-friendly, organic crops. The symbolic overalls are an immediately recognizable element that uniquely represents the local farmers of the Rio Grande Valley. Overall, the icon gives the feel of a grass-roots, gound-level community effort for and by the farmers.
